Hello, My name is Marcus Freeman. I am a graduate of Class 38-16 of the San Joaquin Delta College Police Academy in 2016 and began my career as a Police Officer for the Newman Police Department in May of 2017. 

 

In November of 2020, I became K9 handler of Gizmo, a Belgian Malinois born May 20, 2019. Gizmo is responsible for locating and apprehending criminals. 

Gizmo is very playful and energetic. On days off, he likes to relax by the pool and play with his at home sister Bella. Gizmo loves getting gifts and pets! He’ll do anything you want him to for a ball! Gizmo also likes to hug you when he first sees you, by wrapping his legs around yours. Gizmo can’t wait to meet you all! When you see us on patrol, flag us down! We’ll be happy to say hi!
